A1 - Animals dobble: review vocabulary in a fun way

Hello, my lovely people!

Today I want to share a digital version of a favourite classroom game: Dobble. We are going to practise animal vocabulary.

How does the game work?

The rules are simple:

  • Look at two cards.
  • Find the animal that appears on both cards.
  • Say the animal in English.

Try to finish as fast as you can!

Before you start playing, let’s review the animal words together. This will help you say the animal out loud when you find it.

💬 Final challenge: Write one sentence in English with one animal from the game.

For example: The lion is very strong.

An idiom is an expression that cannot be understood literally because it has a specific meaning in the language. I have prepared an activity inspired by the famous TV show Pasapalabra , but with a special twist: everything is in English! In this activity, you will test your vocabulary and your quick thinking while practising your reading skills. How does it work? In this interactive version, you will see definitions in English. Your mission is to guess the correct word. Important details: All the words begin with a specific letter of the alphabet. You have 30 seconds for each word.
